Who We Are

Shannon

Owner

I have owned and operated the boat rental for years. I not only do the booking and managing duties but mechanics as well. To say that I am extremely busy is an understatement.

I am a United States Coast Guard licensed boat captain for both inshore and offshore and a PADI MSDT SCUBA instructor.

My hobbies include tournament waterskiing, hunting, spearfishing/diving, and snow skiing.

I moved to the lake when I was 5 years old and have been obsessed ever since. My love for the water and the park comes from my family. My grandparents and dad were the first people to visit the park when it first opened and even have a cool plaque to commemorate it! They were hooked and bought a lake house and now here I am!

Anna

Anna goes to Ivy Tech Community College for medical imaging. She graduated locally from Parke Heritage. She has a dog named Rebel, and a cat named Remi.

This is her third year at the rental.

Bree

Bree is currently attending Ivy Tech in Terre Haute. She will be majoring in radiology. She graduated from Parke Heritage High School where she cheered all four years and even got to cheer at the state championship.
This summer will be her third year working at the boat rental.

Stella

Stella is an upcoming freshman at Indiana University majoring in psychology
This is her second year working at the rental.

Kristen

Kristen went to Parke Heritage High School. She is currently attending Indiana University where she is studying finance and business law. She enjoys playing sports and spending time with family and friends. She loves to be outdoors and especially loves being on the lake!

Kara

Kara has worked at the Raccoon Lake Boat Rental for 3 summers. She will be a senior at Purdue University this fall. She is studying secondary social studies education. When she's not at the lake she enjoys reading, going to football games, and playing with her dogs.
